My wheels have a 38mm offset all around. I have no troubling rubbing in the front, but my car is stock and I have no idea what would happen if I lowered the car. That is interesting however that your car rubs with the 8.5" Contour up front. My sister drives a '98 328is which I've been slowly helping her upgrade and the next step is to give her my two front and spare Contours. I would keep one of the 8.5"'s as a spare, but if you say it rubs, that wouldn't be too good. Maybe I'll have to order a pair of 7.5"'s instead of just one to complete the set for the 328is. If anyone else has any info. regarding this subject I'd be happy to hear your opinion. TIA.
