Nope, never had any problem with blown fuses whenever putting/removing the hardtop.

: This one is not a big deal and I know there are not that many M3c hardtop owners on the board, but here goes:

: Bought a new '99 M3c back in September with dealer installed hardtop. I removed hardtop back then and put it away since weather was nice. Put hardtop on myself first time this past Saturday and once top was clamped down, I noticed that the fuse for the interior lights was blown. Replaced blown fuse and all ok. Top gets power for its own interior lights I know through the holddown pins, so something went awry there, but there should have been no voltage at those points since ignition was off and doors were closed while I was installing top.

: Anyone have this problem or know how to prevent? Hate to blow a fuse every time I install hardtop and more importantly it may be telling me something more serious is wrong. I'll have dealer check at first service, but expertise here is usually better than dealer. Thanks in advance,

: Sadler
