SEARS....never again.... (archive)

I was driving home from work. Had a long day at the office. As I get out of my car I hear a sounds. Damn, got a flat tire. I see a nail still sticking out of the treads. I am too tired and have to take care of a lot of stuff so I decide to take it to SEARS to get it fixed. I don't trust the guys in the first place so I put on a spare and just drop off the tire/rim (these are the miglia winter rims with pilot alpine winter tires that I just put on brand new last week). I take care of my business come back in two hours and the tire is all fixed up....but guess what... the rim is all scratched up (all five spokes)..... What the F&%K!!! It was a simple flat tire so I can't even imagine how they could have scratched the rim.... so, after talking to the store assistant manager and the store manager and after some serious convincing they agreed to reimburst me for a new rim. I have ordered it and it should be here next week....man, can't believe all the hassle just because of a flat tire...next time I'll fix it myself no matter how much crap I got toing on.
The good thing is that it was NOT my M3 rim, but just the winter rim.
Moral of my story......if you want the job done right, do it yourself....
(and you can bet I'll be there watching them myself when they will be installing my tire on the new rim)
