: Some of the guys with the newer Mustangs claim that installing even a properly oiled K&N filter can cause the mass air flow sensor to malfunction due to traces of oil getting on the sensor. These guys swear up and down that this is common with the new Stangs and don't recommend these filters at all. I guess using minimal oil on the filter would be the best bet if you're gonna use one, though.
