: Does anybody know of any good places to get my M3 serviced in the San Jose, CA area? My brake warning light just came on, so I need new pads at least and I'm looking for a good, affordable place to take it.

: Thanks for any input.

Try Import Connection in Campbell. Talk to Farhad (you can mention me if you like). He services my friend Navid's car (he's too far away from me), and I've bought my track rotors from him. He's a CCA member and I've autocrossed and gone to the track with him a few times.

Also, changing pads (& rotors) is a pretty straight-forward DIY procedure. With the right tools, and a Bentley manual or the info at:
http://www.racepad.com/BMW/Tech/ChangeBrakePads/ChangeBrakePads.htm
it's easy.

Hope that helps,
