saturday and i skimped by not having the pump, it took forever for me to refill. i went to ron stygar's page and followed the instructions. very easy. warm car up, put on jackstands (level) remove the 2 17 mm plugs, let drain. replace bottom plug, fill in the other (side hole) until fluid starts dripping out of the hole, button it up. torque plugs to 39 ft/lbs. and if you used redline mtl, you will be smiling bigtime on 1st drive!!! i love it!
good luck

: I'm going to be driving at a track event next weekend and I want to change my oil and filter before the event. I have never changed it myself, so is it difficult? And what is a good filter brand and oil grade for the M3? I was thinking to go with Red Line 10W-40. And is it difficult to change transmission fluid? Thanks!
