I'll be taking my '99 M3 to the dealer tomorrow to have them change my tranny oil to Red Line D4ATF and install the heavy duty 320i tranny bushings using the UUC "Enforcer" cups. I also want them to take care of the "Recall" for the Side Airbag sensitivity.

While I'm there I will ask them to fix my Cold-Idle problem and "check" the Crankshaft Sensor. I assume the fix for the Cold-Idle problem is a download to the ECU but what about the fix for the Crankshaft Sensor? The sensor hasn't caused any problem so far. Will they fix or change it anyway?

Also, after the download for the Cold-Idle problem, will the ECU go back to factory default settings and a "re-learn" period be needed? I'm not sure how a BMW ECU reacts to being re-programmed.
