The early powerdynes had problems with reliability, but since approx 1997, they have remedied the bearing failure problem. Dinan also adds vent holes on their units that my ERT does not have. Those holes aren't enough to justify the extra $3000 though. ERT's having a special on their kits, this would be the time to buy one if you're looking.


: I called Dinan today and asked about a SC for my 98 M3. They told me that the Powerdyne unit it the only unit that is smog legal in Cal. The vortech unit is not.

: Is it still true that the Powerdyne unit has problms with long term reliability?
