I know the Roadster is a little faster, but I prefer the considerable extra room to the slight difference in speed. The Roadster also has that attractive compact spare tire. Just imagine taking a trip to the beach with the wife while packed into that tiny Roadster. Don't fool around, get the real car.
BTW...I think you'll have to wait 'til 2001 or so for the new E46 M3C.
: An M3 conv., or an M roadster? I love them both and can't decide. My wife has given me the green light!
