: Recently I bought a DINAN exhaust on EBAY and when it arrived the tips where smashed in. A muffler shop put it on this hydralic expander device and made them perfectly round again! Only thing is that by look at the device, anything more than 3 inches in from the exit point won't be able to be reached. But if the dent is near the end, that expander thingy will do the trick.

: I doubt your deal will be as good but my guy fixed both tips and installed the exhaust system for $30.

: : as many of you from the #mpower room on irc know, i was involved in an accident a few weeks before xmas. with all the insurance and holiday delays, my car should be ready in the next few days. no frame damage, mostly drivetrain and minor body. everything can be returned to like-new condition. i do however, have a problem.

: : yesterday when i went to the dealership to take a look at my baby, (first time i've seen her in about a month) i noticed a dent in my driver's side exhaust tip. as many people know, i have a euro ss w/ straight tips on my m3. beautiful exhaust with stunning dual 3" rolled tips. on the inside of the tips, there was a dent, as crudely pictured below:

: : the dent is not huge, as compared to the size of the tip, (the picture is not to real scale) and you can't really see it unless you are eye level with the exhaust and looking straight down the pipes, but i know it's there. the other tip is fine, no scratches or anything and the dented tip itself has no scratches i could see upon first inspection. but basically, i'm wondering if there is any way to repair this dent. or should i go ahead and sell this exhaust and get myself another one? or what other options would i have?
