ive had mine for a couple of years and about 2 1/2 months ago when i went to the 1/4 track here for the 1st time, i tested it out against track timeslips. on 7 runs, i had a chance to test it. on 6 of those runs, it was accurate to the tenth of a second. on the one run that it was "off", it was only off by 1/10th. so i am a believer. the MPH part is optimistic compared to the track, but it is actually more accurate- let me explain. the G_TECH captures speed at the 1320 foot mark. the track averages your last 60 feet (which is slightly slower). i dont know about the accuracy of the g-forces in turns as i havnt tested it. i also havent tested the hp portion to know if it matches my dyno run. i am mostly concerned about the 0-60mph and 1/4 as most people probably are.
i would also agree that the biggest benefit to having one is knowing if a tweak or experiment worked or not without having to wait for the track to be open. you can also test different techniques to know which works best, ie. launch rpms, shift points, etc. keep in mind though, that the drag strip might require different launching technique due to different surface.
to sum up, mine works,

: does any one own a G-Tech?? how do u like it?? think it is accurate?
