there something that 3-4 gallons of 110 to a 1/2 a tank of 93 would cause a problem? i plan to swap out the 2 1/2" downpipe and the rest of exhaust with a 3"downpipe, 3" high flow cat and a 3" muffler soon. i might get a test pipe made to swap with the cat for friday nights.
anyway back to my question,,, is 110 bad for the cat? if so what does it do?
the reason i put the 110 in was to see if the car was retarding its timing,,, it obviously was cause the mph went up!!! so now, based on my estimation, im pushing 450 hp at flywheel. i'll check the computer formulas for mph to see.

: People should know that a 3.0L TC M3 can do 11's too!!! when it has stage II...now, 110 octane, no cats right?? Good 'ol Florida man, ;)>, ..You know, I have a friend Larry in Florida with that Stage II/Gen II+ with the reworked turbo (450bhp at 12psi), and he rerouted the blow off valve to blow right into the turbo! You don't even hear it anymore, so it feels like a real fast car that came like this from the factory...I was in it a lot while in Miami..weird, but kind of cool. He'll never drag race, though. With his set up and cams, he just smokes 1st and 2nd gear, NEVER gets traction..so he lets people blow by him until he starts to pick up at around 35mph...hehe, sort of funny actually..CYA>PM3
: : Yeah Pablo, this was seriously fast! The way how the engine roars, the tires sqealing, the turbos spooling, and the clicking sound of the gears engaging just makes you want to drop your mouth and drool... even if your the passenger. Tommy smoked just about everyone he raced last night and good thing he added 110octane! Congrats on your 12.41. A lot of people out there were surprised a BMW 3.0L TC can do 12's! What a rush!
