: : yokohama avs sport street tires! i was excited to see 2 other m3's. jon caldito from california and marty from sarasota where there. jon spectated and gave technical advice and joe rodriguiz tested marty's car. he also drove his supra tt to some new record times. i made about 30 passes tonight. 3 were in the 13's from me missing shifts; 2 from 1st to 2nd and 1 from 3rd to 4th. i guess i was out of focus.
: : overall,i had more fun than a barrel of monkeys!!!!!! i smoked a red cobra, several other mustangs, the one i enjoyed the most was the "baddest" 5.0 that comes to the car show i go to... i really enjoyed that win!
: : one very hopped up stang redlighted with a .350 light and i still passed him just before the finish line- i love it when that happens!!! one guy from the car show that i attend, in his hopped up firebird complete with full slicks challenged me to a grudge match. i was "testing and tuning" and my experiment was crappy, so he beat me the 1st time, then i beat him, then he beat me, then he said we will rematch at 10:45. he let his car cool, while i put my spare back in the trunk and put my filter back on(that was my experiment). i started running 12.5's again, then i clicked off the 12.41. when i raced him again 3 or 4 times in a row, he would get me on the take off (slicks), but i would blow by him around the 1000' mark- every single time!!! i love it. i left happier than he did.
: : on the way home, i did run it up to 160 one time just to blow out any carbon build up. then i slowed back down to a more legal speed. did i mention that i love my car and that the AA turbo is awesome.
: : jon's car is georgeous, techno violet is an uncommon color and it really looks good. i think that he was tempted to go fill out a registration card and run it down the track. i think he enjoyed the couple of runs he made with me, we ran 12.8's.
: : im not sure what marty's car ran, but maybe jon knows and can fill us in. it is naturally aspirated and has AA exhaust, but im not sure of what other upgrades.
: : have fun and be safe

: everytime you go to the track. Everytime you come back faster and faster. You definitely get me thinking about getting a turbo. Then I start looking at my stocks. You don't know how many times I've thought about selling Oracle. You can't do this to me!!! When you break into the 11's, I'll probably be forced to pull the trigger.
