there are always those tuners who decide to opt for their own designations when they modify their cars. examples are like alpina, acs, dinan, hartge. i know that i have not, and probably will not ever, go to the extent they have modified their cars, but it still follows the same principle. badging it something else to make it more unique. i do sort of want people to do a double take when they see the badge, wondering if there ever was such a model. and as for the people who know bmw's, they would know it was a m3 regardless of the badge. as for the Csi designation, i was thinking about that because that's what the m powered 850 was given instead of a ///m badge. in any event, i'm still thinking about it. have about a week more before i get my car back. =(
