I did a stage 1 and the need for the suspension was really apparent. I live in Texas and our roads really suck too(concrete expansion joints and sharp-edge potholes.), so I really feel your pain. My ride quality definitely suffered. However, when I get that lonely piece of smooth pavement at 80mph+, the suspension is worth it. Try it without it, but with that much power you will feel like the car is on tip-toes all the time. Try the HR-OE sports. Same height springs as OE, w/ HR sport spring rate, maybe a happy medium. Let me know how the stage 2 works out, I am thinking about upgrading...
