As a side note. I saw 2 BMW's with incorrect badging in the last week. Both of which really made me laugh. The first was an E30 318i bone stock looking except for an old "///M" badge before the 318i badge. The ///M badge looked about 10 years older than the 318i badge. I know that's not really possible but it was a terrible match, cuz the M badge had seen more wear and tear.

The second one was a bone stock looking E36 318i badged with a 325i badge. Single tail pipe, wheel covers, the whole bit. I pointed it out laughing to my wife, and she looked and said "the 325i is in the wrong spot, it's too low". Before I could get the words out, as we started passing him in our ///M3, she says "we should hold up a sign that says 'You mean 318i?'." I was thinking the same thing. Cracked me up.
