Used correctly and reasonably. It prvides HP the same way as SC or TC,only not forced. You have to be smart and maintain the system correctly and make sure you enrich the fuel mixture if you are going beyond the capabilities of your stock fuel system. The Yahoos of the muscle car era gave nitrous a bad rap IMHO. The only drawback to NOS is the fact that you have to refill the bottle every now and then.But the frequency will be determined by how much WOT you use.
