I have the Bentley Service Manual and did the stomped technique on the car.. got the fault code out.. but it keeps repeating the same one code over and over again after the 0.5 flash.... I was looking for the 1000 code to be displayed but it juz didn't came up.. That's why I posted for advice here...

Btw, my fault code is 1221 and I check the o2 sensor.. diagnose it according to Bentley.. working good.. voltages fluctuate accordingly.. good respose time.. well.. I know lots of ppl do the disconnect Batt thing.. but I thought there should be a better way to do it!!

Anybody tried it on their 95 M3 before.. please advice... Thanx dude..

: On cars with OBD1,fault codes can be read by turning the ignition key on and fully depressing the accelerator pedal to the floor five times within five seconds. The check engine light will then remain on for five seconds, blink off, come on for 2.5 seconds. At this point, the fault codes will begin to flash.
: If more than one fault has been detected, each code will be separated by a 2.5 second pause. When all faults codes have been displayed, there will be a .5 second flash and then the light will remain off.
: To erase the fault code memory, first make sure the fault code 1000 (short blink and then the light goes out for a long period)is present, then depress the throttle fully for at least ten seconds. Read the fault codes as described earlier and check for the 1444 code (no faults stored)

: get a bentley dude =)
