Today was my first experience racing with another M3. It is a friend of mine's, so I had him bring it over today. Mine is a 99 silver 2dr. His is a 97 silver 4dr. we basically spent 15 minutes comparing all the minute differences. Then it was time to go pick up some other people, so we hopped onto 217 (portland, OR). It was pretty heavy traffic, so we decicded to play follow the leader. The only clearings we had were the exit lanes, so we used them. Kept speed on those things under 115. The highlight of my day was me and my friend both racing a 78 camaro at the same time. At the stoplight, the camaro was in the left lane, and the 2 silver bullets were in the right one. We took off and my friend, who was in front dusted him. I then proceeded to pull along side the camaro, took 1 glance over, then booked off. I found myself with a shitfaced grin on my face for the next few hours. Oh yeah, the coupe stickshift feels sounds, and tastes much better than the sedan auto. dont know what aspect may cause my opinion to think coupe is better, but it is in my opinion. Im tired, gnight everyone.
