The thing is, even if I cut off a quarter inch from the bolt, it wouldn't go in any further.
You see, the red rubber stop and the nut are screwed all the way down.
One solution would be to shave down the rubber stop and trim down the bolt (on the rubber stop end) but i'd rather not.

: : I've had my uuc clutchstop installed for a week now and I love it. The problem is, 1st gear and reverse have been a lot more difficult to engage. (The clutchstop is in as far as it will go). I can correct the problem by forcing the clutch down to compress the rubber but I'd rather not.

: : Any similar experiences? Advice?

: : Thanks in advance.

: What I did with mine was take out my trusty dremel tool, and cut off about a quarter inch from the bolt...Now, I can truely adjust it...Before, I found, like you, that even screwed all the way in, I wanted it to go in more, hence the cutting. Try it.
