I installed it after a long drive and in Arizona, winter here doesn't has much effect.. it just felt very "notchy"..

: I'm not sure where you're located, but I had a similar problem with my M3 in NY. I installed it in the fall and never had any problems, but when I first started it up in the winter, I SLAMMED first gear HARD! It seemed like it would if I had tried to shift into first without even using the clutch. For me, after just letting the gearbox warm up for a little while, all was fixed. I do have the problem if I jump into the car on a cold day and just start driving, but never when I let it warm up. If you're in a sunny place, this probably doesn't apply. Hope this helps.
