: : I am going to replace all of my brake pads soon. i am trying to decide if i should go with the EBC greenstuff(69 front & 49 rear) , Metalmasters, or Repco deluxe. This is fo my 95 M3. i don't autocross, this is mainly for street driving and the occasional drag race. I want something that is low on dust and easy on the rotors. thanks

: Repcos are cheap, clean pads....But, they have a pretty strong down side. The MMs can be deadly when cold, and for the first couple of stops of the day. Also they definitely are NOT easy on the rotors. Also, they are notoriously noisy, and the rears often squeal like stuck pigs, and no amount of silicon grease will shut 'em up. Besides, there are much better pads out there...On my '99 M3, I'm currently using stock on the rears, but a pad called Rotex semi metallics on thefront..These are much better pads, function hot or cold, are almost as clean as the MMs, and are much more rotor friendly. Rotex and Frictiontech are subsidiaries of Raybestos in Canada, and can be bought from Brake Warehouse.

I have Rotex Pads on my '97 ///M3 and I agree that they are excellent. Superb stopping power, cold or hot, and much better feel than stock - they aren't so "grabby" like the stock pads. Also, very low dust and no noise. I haven't used them at the track yet, but I have some real good roads around my house and they work great there.

Got mine from Brake Warehouse and they were competitively priced. Good Luck.
