Won't be there...:(

You, instructing! AHH! Just kidding. You will do great.

Did you know I took out the turbo? Yep. Back to euro HFM power now.

The only REAL difference I feel is low-end....but I can live with that!

I am going to get into kart racing....damn it is fun, and fast as hell!

My buddy has a 125cc shifter kart..Holly crapolla!
Scared myself about 12 times in 2 minutes. Those karts can do 0-60 in about 3 seconds, outbreak an F1 car, and pull 3 G's in the corners, 1.8 continuous!

Man o man....I am glad I sold the turbo so I can now buy a kart. It is the most fun I have had with my clothes on! If you ever get a chance, go for it...Well, maybe that is a bad could get hooked like me..(but it is WAY cheaper to do than race around the M3).

I am going to do the sprint (for practive) and the enduro for competition (Sears Point, THill, Seca). You can gear a 125 to do about 130 mph...

My buddy was turning 10 second FASTER lap times at Seca with his kart than he ever did in his E30 M3... DAMN! (and he is a good driver--former SCCA I think).

Well, enough ranting...have a good time this weekend and keep it on the black.

: Just wondering who I might see there, if anyone.

: I'll be there both days - instructing on Sat for the "regular" Street School, and driving on Sun in the "advanced" Street School.

: Unfortunately, both days are already full, but there should be opportunities for rides with me & my friends for those interested in checking it out.

: Cheers,
: Jim Bassett - officially instructing for the first time, eeek! :-)
