I have a S/C'd 325i, and it's damn fast, but I don't even think a SC'd M3 would keep up with a modified S4. There is a lot to be said for factory TC'd cars-they are much easier and less expensive to modify. Case in point-the Supra TT, a guy who takes his car to the same perf shop as I do only spent $2000 on his Supra TT and has dyno tested 480 hp at the wheels. I spent close to $8000 retail and got 233 at the wheels. It's just so much easier with factory TC'd cars. The only drwback to the S4 is the handling, but if you tweak that, it would be a very sweet ride. Best interior on the market in the Audi's. That's what I'd do at least.

: The other option is to buy a 2000 Audi S4 and equip it with H&R Coilovers and the MTM Stage 3 upgrade. With a Stage 3 upgrade the S4 will be using all stock turbos running at only 1 bar of boost with a turbo back exhaust. This mod will make 350 horsepower. With all wheel drive I expect that 0-60 will be in the 4.8-4.9 range (based on the fact that people have been getting 5.0-5.2 times on chipped 305-320 HP S4's). I know this might not be quite as fast as a supercharged M3, but what about reliability. It is my feeling that the Audi might hold up better in the long run. Any opinions welcome. I am not sure which way to go. With all the S4 mods listed above + the car, price would be about 45-46K. Thanks,
