: Im sitting here looking at the fall edition of their catalog, and seeing numbers that I don't believe. For the M3, M roadster/coupe 96-99, it says with their chip, you can expect max hp gains of 40!!!!and Trq gains of 36!!!!!

Similar to other chips, like JimC's: Max HP gain of 34HP (@4500RPM), Max TQ gain of 40 ft-lbs (@4500RPM).

Also, their chip is reprogrammable, so you can get it first, and change chip settings when you get other performance parts. How can this chip do so much, when all others cant.

All 96+ (OBD-II) "chips" are (re)programmable. You don't get a "chip", you have to send your DME in to be reprogrammed. They use flash devices, not EPROMs like the OBD-I cars.

For example, their 95 M3 chip only gives 15 hp increase and 19 trq increase. Please explain. I am very excited, but prolly over nothing. Thanks in advance.

95 M3s(3.0l & ODB-I) & 96+ M3s (3.2l & OBD-II) are different engines, and have different increases from chips/SW.

Hope that helps,
Jim Bassett
