There's got to be a better place to install the actual detector.. in California, the cops always kneel down on the passenger side (required because too many cops got hit by cars) so they always see the detector..

: Where is your detector mounted? I have mine mounted by the rear view mirror and the remote display to the right below the steering column. If the state trooper doesn't bend down, he won't see the detector, and he will never see the concealed display. Today, I drove to and back from the mall, total of 8 miles. Fully deteced 3 different state troopers. Those cruizers are huge and the NY state cruizers even have blacked out rims. Looks mean. I hate them though.
