This program is a courtsey that BMW NA extends to BMW CCA (Car Club of America) members.

You need to have been in good standing for a year when you make the car purchase. After you purchase the car, you have 60 days to contact BMW and request your refund -- the dealer does not need to be involved. Just by the time elapsed, I would say that you wouldn't get the rebate. You still could join the club (which is a good thing anyway) and then in a year or more qualify for a rebate on your next BMW.

I did notice that BMW has suspended this rebate for the M5, Z8, and one other (maybe X5?) There is a Corporate Discount program that has a similar rebate schedule to the Owner Loyalty Program, but they are mutually exclusive. Call 1-800-526-0818 to ask for more info...
