: I have had right sender replaced x 2 and the left sender replaced x 1. All at no cost to me. Problem is again reocurring and dealer stated BMW is aware and trying to come up with new fix. Anyone also having same problems. Anything I can state to dealer to get fixed right this time?
: Don

I had one brief episode, for about 1 tankful, where the needle would be all over the place, including showing near empty right after a fill up....I think though I may have either had the key in the ignition, or had the door partially open during fillup, both of which are known to drive the M3 electronics nuts. Are you sure the key is completely OUT of the Ignition during fillup, and the car door is closed? If not, pull fuse #31 to reset everything, and then make sure you pay attention to these issues....It worked for me.
