You speak with wisdom.

But I used to be "nervous" about doing such things. Until one day I said what the hell and in went a supercharger. It ran horrible. Until I did my homework and read up on the car's electronics.

Then fixed the problem.

Then I got tired of the SC, sold it, and built a Turbo system.

Then I got tired of the power and added an upgraded intercooler. It ran bad. I did some reading, learned buy fuel delivery. Then it ran good and fast.

Then I ran a ton of open track days at redline.

Wore out my motor.

Bought a bigger motor and bolted it in.

Ran into swap issues. Learned about the new motor. Fixed swap issues.

Long story short, I'm talking about software not a full ECU reprogram. I want to play with timing at each RPM, fuel delivery, air/fuel ratios.

I've seen them on japanese import tuning screens at races and such.

Imy opinion, it's not rocket science.

I know not everyone is like me. And that's cool.
But understand me when I ask to run in the optimal power band one day, then switch to smog inspect friendly the next, to super economy for a road trip.

Sound nuts? Maybe. But does this Cd exists? Sure does. But the vendors don't seem to want to sell it.
