thanks to Will Turner, I was able to get my money back on an extra Bilstein Strut (almost $200 shipped!) that I had to order right away when BIG O Tires broke the top part of the strut hat (screw, whatever)..since it's hollow on the top, due to the allen wrench insertion (so it's easier to tighten without it spinning around) it snapped right away when they used a power tool on it, trying to tighten it. So, BIG didn't want to cover it, saying it was a defective product, and Turner, at first said it was their fault. But he called Bilstein and they said to just send back the broken one through Turner, and they'll take care of it. As for Big O, since they broke it, all they offered me was a free install (the fronts, I had already done the rears myself), and free alignment (probably about $90 worth) I took it, but of course didn't say anthing about getting reimbursed on the strut (if they would have offered to pick up the tab on the strut, I would have gave them back the money when I got it back). So turns out I get free install and alignment for the hassles, at least, ;).. I'm satisfied.
As to how the bilsteins are, can't tell..raining like hell over here in So. Cali (what???)..but it's a tad stiffer, not much. But the car lifted a bit! Oh well..CYA>PM3
