I am looking to upgrade my suspension. As of now, all engine work has been done through Dinan. I am completely happy with their products(exhaust, CAI, Throttle Body, Air Flow Meter, Stress Bars).
For Dinan Stage 2 suspension, which includes koni ajustables, Dinan springs and Dinan sway bar(which Dinan says were manufactured specifically for them)will cost about $2250.
Their sales pitch is that they, Dinan, have a systems approach and that all parts functionally work in harmony (my wording)tested and tweeked to their specs.
I priced Koni ajustables, Eibach sway bar, and H&R springs, and from what I read from various sources, this set up should be awesome. A local dealer would install for $1800. Dinan rep was saying that these are three different companies putting together one system, and questioned whether these parts "work in harmony"
Is Dinans suspension that much better ($400 worth) than this second combination? Can a non-professoinal driver such as myself even tell the difference? Will I look back in 6 months and say, wish I spent the extra $400 and went with Dinans package? I need help here .........
