I'm paying $775 for a 3 year lease but I live in IL. It's the only state the makes you pay FULL sales tax over the 3 year lease. Most leases you pay tax on the cost of the LEASE (differece between the price you pay for a car and the buyout at the end of the lease). I figure with the interest in all it amounts to 100-150 extra then it would in another state. This was with NO money down. (Captital reduction)

Leases can be confusing but to KNOW your not getting screwed. Check this site out.

Some tricks to watch out for is adjusting the residual value. Depending on if you want to buy the car at the end of the lease it can help or hinder you.

: Hi Guys,

: Can anyone who leased a 99 tell me approximately what you're paying - and what amount put down? I've located a '99 estoril/grey at a dealership and didn't want to go in blind. Any input would be appreciated.

: Thanks,

: -CA
