As for whatever dealer X told you about voiding your warranty. There no such thing. They can deny a claim if they can 'prove' that a modification caused the fault, but they can't deny replacing your window motor because you put on an exhaust.
As for BMW dealer vs independant, doesn't make a difference. You've just added a Dinan part, BMW does not warranty the part, Dinan does.
Don't wait for your warranty to expire before you start using Leo. Use the dealer for warranty and maintenace items, use Leo for the 'go fast, stop fast, keep the tires on the road' goodies.
