:This is the BMW part number for the diagnostic tool that accesses the OBD2 info. Smog, Mileage, RPM, fault codes in particular. there are some comments about this on this digest, search for "over-rev" or similar and I'm sure you will read about it. Now what would be better, would be a system like the ZR1 Corvette, where the valet key will not unlock the HP. Richard
