: : I have a 1995 M3 and I am wondering what (if anything) would happen if I moved the OEM mass air sensors and body further away from the throttle body?

: : I have a dinan intake am would like to connect it directly to the cone(air filter) then have the pine connect to the other side and the connect to the existing OEM bent rubber tube that connects to the thottle body... Can anyone give me any info on how this would affect the car?

: Not really sure why you're doing this, it wasn't all the clear for me, but I know if you reverse the air mass sensor (HFM really) your car will loose power. Seems to me that if the orientation of the HFM is somewhat critical, why mess with it?

: Everyone should know by now that on a 95, the hot setup is a Euro HFM and a Conforti chip. As far as reusing the Dinan intake, not really sure if you can.

: Well, First off, I am running times faster than anyone I have heard from in a 95' M3 with such little parts. I already have a Conforti chip and agree it is the best. I am asking this odd question because I was hoping someone could give me some useful info. Like exactly why it would or would not work and exactly what would occur. I am asking because it will affect the upgrade I am in the process of doing. ************************************************* I would like to know if I moved the HFM further from the thottle body what would happen. the distance would move the HFM about ten inches to 12" from the throttle body. Any helpful response would be good.
