Either on this forum or on the E36 one, some people have recently been saying that BMP does not have good service at all and sells a lot of low quality stuff. I'd go read their comments before ordering from BMP. I went with the factory alarm for $264 from Pacific BMW (www.pacificbmw.com) and am happy with it. Installed it myself even.
The BMP site is www.bmpd.com though if you decide to go there.
