There will be no compatibility issues. This is a thing of the past. Any newer "aftermarket" car audio components willl work together. There are differences in out put voltages and output impedance, but this would only effect the volume. Since all of these devices have high gain amplifiers, this is a non-issue as you can still run your equipment in to distortion. Gains on your amp will effectively let you adjust these anomolies.

As far as fitting in the sunglass location. This will work.
