: When I filled up the car today (16 gallons), the Fuel Guage and OBC acted as if I only had about 4 gallons (guage stayed at 1/4, with an 85 mile range). About 1/2 hour later, the guage started rising and within an hour was up to full. After about an hour and a half the OBC started reading 300+ miles.

: The car is relatively new 99, with ~6K miles.

: Anyone else had any problems with the gas guage? I'll have BMW check it out, but curious if it is something others have encountered.

: Thanks

Same thing happened to mine ('97 ///M3/2). It happened a year ago and they replaced the "Sender Unit." Now it's happened again! I go in on Thursday for ANOTHER sender unit. Dealer said: "Oh yeah, we keep those in stock because we replace so many of them." BMW ought to be able to figure it out and fix it, don't you think?
