Fields so far has done some really good work on my car and some really, well, disappointing work on my car. They are, however, VERY interested in customer satisfaction and willing to make it right... I'd at least give them a call, ask for Mike Hill.
I haven't been to any drivers training yet, but I'm also interested. I'll let you know if I find something.
Also, I've got some friends with M3's that are going out to the drag strip at Bithlo on Wednesday - not sure if I can make it, but it looks like there may be 5-10 M's out there. There are 3 guys that are regulars, my 2 friends, Jon Caldito would probably go... mine would make 7!
I'll post tomorrow if I'm going...
: I haven't called Fields yet so I don't know the price. I was wondering if you or others had a place you trusted. The price is secondary to results, so if the dealer is the best place, so be it.
: ps - as I'm new to owning an M3, can you give me any leads on drivers improvement courses in the area? Thanks for your reply.
: : Have you called Fields BMW, or are you looking for a non BMW place?
: : Dave
: : : Can any of you guys give me advice on where to take my M3 to get aligned in the Orlando area? I've gotten my Jetta VR6 aligned at the local tire shops and I always leave with a new ding in my tires so I want to avoid that.
: : : As soon as my shoulder heals from reconstructive surgery and I can type more than 2 words a minute, I'll post my experience racing a '92 Porsche (pre-surgery).
: : : Thanks to all.
