the only time this has happened to me, my dealer said, with the ignition key off (out) pull fuse 31 and wait 10 seconds. Replace Fuse - It worked for me!

: When I filled up the car today (16 gallons), the Fuel Guage and OBC acted as if I only had about 4 gallons (guage stayed at 1/4, with an 85 mile range). About 1/2 hour later, the guage started rising and within an hour was up to full. After about an hour and a half the OBC started reading 300+ miles.

: The car is relatively new 99, with ~6K miles.

: Anyone else had any problems with the gas guage? I'll have BMW check it out, but curious if it is something others have encountered.

: Thanks
