It was pretty cool, you will need the quicktime vr stuff if you wanna click on the links. I saw the hummer h2 and it was the first SUV ever that i thought was super cool. mind you i also thought that adding an m60 to the top with a couple of rocket launchers would make the car the perfect yellow taxi cab for a post apocalyptic new york city.
passed by the audi place and they said that the s8 will come next jan to the us, drool. passed by the vw place and saw the beatle dune buggy type thing, i thought it was the first new beatle that looked drivable for a guy. passed by subaru and saw this neat little gizmo where they have a flat 6 engine cut in 1/2 showing the pistons moving. however they did not show the wrx, the girl there told us that the car will come out jan 2001 however. passed by the mazda spot saw the rotary, looks super cool, i want those seats.
finally i treked all the way to the other side of the show drifting across the dodge room where i saw the new viper gtr (i hope i did not stain the carpet too much with my drool), passed throught the porshe room and saw the new turbo (had to take a seat, the car was just too nice) and finally came across the bmw room. i saw the z9 which is just stunning. you have to see the car in the metal to appreciate it.

finally i saw the new m3 (too bad i didn't find one of those quicktime thingies for it). it does not look as aggressive as i thought it would. i prefer our side view mirrors to the new one. the back mirror looks even smaller than ours (if you can believe it). i personnaly do not like the side grill things, but it is just a detail. overall, the car looks bad ass. it was funny, all the guys there were talking shit to their girls. the quad exhaust look good, 18 inchers looked super nice but since the car was right next to the z9 which had 21 inches (sick!) they made the 18s look puny.
even tho the performance of the car is bound to beat the crap out of our car, i will not decide until i get a test drive. i am sure that if i were to buy one, i will not buy the first year production. the only thing is that after that test drive i may have to plug a turbo in my car :).

ps: goto ny timesfor more auto show stuff.
