: I think pacific bmw sells it for $40. Is it worth it? Or, in your opinion, would I be just as well off doing a straight install with-out it?
: you have any pictures?

$40? Crap. Learning's fun.

I really didn't want to drill any holes in my car to install the changer, and using the kit accomplished that goal. I did have to drill holes in the bracket to get it to fit the changer, but that didn't bug me at all. And then, as I mentioned before, I used a razor to cut away the lower section of the case and it fit just fine.

If you feel comfortable installing it some other way, then go for it. I don't think I could have done it myself any other way. I'm happy with the result (althought not with the dent in my wallet, now). :)

I don't have any pics at the moment. I'm about to buy a digital camera, though that doesn't help you right now. Might be able to borrow my buddy's camera. I'll post if I can.

40?! I feel dumb.
