If you decide to change pads, change rotors to. I found that when I changed pads, I would still get noise. When I changed rotors AND pads, it was gone. I tried the R4S with NEW rotors and it was still there....hence, the pads suck. With the EBC, you WILL get noise for the first 300 miles or so, then quiet and very clean running pad. I like 'em a lot, and will buy them again. Tim

Tim I run R4S's with Euro Rotors and a Cool Brake kit.....No noise, no problems...in fact after bedding the pads properly I beat the living snot out of them at NHIS and out braked half the ADV group I ran with.....No fade, no noise, no problems.....I've have nothing but great things to say about this pad, both on the street, Solo II'ng and at the Track....you will need to keep them cool at the track if your a experienced driver...they will not hold up as well as a pure track pad ie PF 90, or Hawk without forced rotor cooling.....
