Have you, or anyone else you know, used these tires on the track (school, not racing)? Impressions?

: : Has anyone tried out the Bridgestone 730 yet??? If so how do you like them Thanx JJ

: Depends upon what you want in a tire. I bought a used car with P Zero's and wanted to replace them with a good tire with good handling, higher treadwear, etc. The 730's are great, and I got 4 of them installed with a lifetime balance warranty for $630. Tire Rack has done a test on them and will be publishing the results this week or next. When I asked them about the tests they said they tested "great". They are very quiet, much quieter than the P Zero. If you are into racing or simply want to be able to say that you have the best spec performance tire available you might want to look elsewhere, but for everyday driving tires that have a AA wet traction rating and a 300 treadwear rating you cannot go wrong with the 730's. FYI I made a post a couple of weeks ago that folks have used to write me and several have purchased the tires. Again, if you are looking for a GREAT value in Z rated tires you cannot go wrong with the 730. Good Luck!
