Yes, the "intake" variant runs fine on "normal"
car.. you asked "why" we have two variants.

Because the "normal" came first and was out
there.. so if we combined them, how do we now
delineate which has intake mods and which
doesn't.. by date?!?

I'm in software for a living (not car software)
and I can just feel the confusion over
"what is in my car?!?" that would arise.

So we have two "versions" .. well actually
we have MANY versions of which "normal" and
"intake" are two.

If someone has "normal" and buys an intake,
the upgrade to "intake" is a nominal deal.
