however, if you have the Jim C chip AND a 3.46, you can hit 60 in 2nd...

so, in effect, if you get the higher differential, your acceleration improves (but you will have to launch at a lower RPM), but you need the chip to increase your rev limit so the red-line shift MPH's stay the same
