1995 M3 model year had a very long production run, from mid-1994 until Nov. or Dec. 1995. A very small number (150 or so) 1994 model year 325is were M-Technik models, which had basically all the 1995 M3 stuff except the drivetrain (eg they had bad-ass M brakes, suspension, aerodynamic stuff, special seats (different than 95 M3 though), M logos, bigger wheels/tires, and some other stuff). Basically a stop-gap until the regular M3s could be made.
