2-door coupes don't have a ski-hole (at least my '95 M3 doesn't).

: I had an enclosure built that covers 1/4 of the trunk area in the front. The driver is a 12" solid aluminum a/d/s sub firing forward, with a bandpass opening on the lower right. Then I had the installer cut out (you can actually punch it with your hand it will pop out) the ski-sock opening that is there for the 'lesser e36s'. After that, he put heavy duty chicken-wire type material, covered in black speaker felt fabric. When the arm rest is down it looks like there is nothing there, but a ha all the bass comes right into the cabin. Best of all I didn't have to sacrifice the fill in speakers on the rear deck.

: Toodles.
: : hey all.... I was wondering... I've always heard that the trunk on the bmw was sealed really really well.... with the rear speaker openings, could u just run two subs like a ported box sorta??? mount them in the trunk and stuff like that? I was thinking that might work... or a custom box that goes across between the rear shock mounts with subs in it. I have quite a few resources in that my friend is starting a tint/car audio/alarm place and i'm gonna be doing most of the car audio. Everythings at cost :)
