I don't remember having any trouble getting the wires out. The paneling was pretty stiff, but I think the wires where just right there.

As far as the adaptor goes, I was lazy and just stuffed it behind the side paneling. I didn't bother mounting it to anything or even gounding it. Again, I didn't like the idea of poking a hole in my car, so I didn't.

Let me know how it all works out.
