I was driving home from work yesterday and saw a used M coupe at a used car dealer....so I decided to stop by and check it out...after a short drive (about 15 mins with the car on my own (dealer let me take it out by myself)) I came to the realization that the M-coupe seems to be a little faster then my '97 M3 coupe. It seemed like the car had about 20 HP more then mine. Is this due to the weight difference? Or maybe it was just the feeling I had driving such a small car (compared to the M3)....any thoughts on this?

Oh yeah, I did love the shorter shifter on the M-coupe. I think it's time to put a short-shifter into my car :)
